The Congressional oversight panel has published a collection of approximately 70 photos from the estate of deceased adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the latest in a series of disclosure from a cache of in excess of 95,000 images the body has secured from Epstein's property. It includes photographs of passages from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured pictures of women's international passports.

This disclosure comes just hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Department of Justice to release each records associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photographs raise additional queries about what exactly the DOJ has in its holdings," said the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

A number of the images released on recently depict Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates seen beside a woman whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon seated at a table across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, powerful individuals to be pictured in Epstein property images published by the oversight panel - formerly released images also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, former US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photos is not proof of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed men have said they were not involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photograph publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate's representatives did not provide explanatory details or dates for the images.

"Photographs were picked to furnish the American people with transparency into a illustrative selection of the photographs acquired from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's associates and his profoundly disturbing activities," the announcement says.

The disclosure also includes several images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita written in dark ink across different parts of a female's body, like her chest, feet, hipbone, and back. Lolita narrates the tale of a minor who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular quote from the novel written across a female's upper body says, "Lolita: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of photographs of female passports and identification documents from countries worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the IDs, including identities and dates of birth, is censored but the panel stated in a announcement that the passports belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

An additional photograph features Epstein sitting at a desk in close proximity surrounded by three women whose faces have been obscured - a first has her hand on Epstein's chest under his garment, and another individual is crouching to look at a adjacent device. Epstein appears to be assisting the third individual attach a bracelet.

An additional image disclosed is a capture of SMS messages from an unidentified sender who claims they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$1000 per female".

Image Release Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The panel has a vast number of photos in its holdings from the Epstein estate, which are "at once explicit and mundane," its statement on recently explained.

The House Oversight Committee first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein property gave to the committee are different than what is commonly referred to "the Epstein files". Those files are papers within the justice department's custody connected to its own investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which Donald Trump made law last month, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its records. The extent of what is found in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's probable that much of the material will be significantly redacted, similar to Congressional materials
