Loyal followers of Ariana Grande are urging that a person who leaped a fence and grabbed the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the performers made its way down a event pathway accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records revealed that he was scheduled to appear on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram profile includes videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over the Star's Well-being

Several supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more message on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
