Spurs Willing to Transferring Winger Brennan Johnson.

Brennan Johnson in action
Brennan Johnson has been capped 42 times for Wales after making his debut in 2020.

Tottenham Hotspur's European final hero Brennan Johnson is facing an uncertain future in North London due to growing top-flight attention in his services.

Sources suggest that Tottenham, while not actively seeking to sell the Welsh international, are receptive to a potential departure should they receive a substantial bid.

The Eagles are reportedly the club furthest along in their pursuit for Johnson, but several clubs are said to be monitoring his situation closely.

A Season of Mixed Fortunes

Johnson was Spurs' leading Premier League scorer the previous campaign with 11 goals, and wrote his name in Spurs folklore by netting the winner in their Europa League final triumph over Manchester United in Bilbao, bringing to a close the club's 17-year wait for a trophy.

However, the exit of Ange Postecoglou and appointment of the new head coach has meant Johnson occupying more of a peripheral role in the current campaign.

The 24-year-old, has made only six Premier League starts under Frank.

January Market Speculation Mounts

As a result, a host of clubs have been alerted to his potential availability ahead of the January transfer window.

Given his reduced minutes and the looming possibility of a global tournament on the horizon with his national team, a move away from Tottenham could benefit Johnson next month.

Johnson joined Spurs from Forest in a deal valued at £47.5m in the summer of 2023 and has registered twenty-seven goals for the club.
