Ukraine Launches Large-Scale Manufacturing of Novel Defensive Drones

Ukrainian authorities have declared the start of large-scale manufacturing for a new locally engineered interceptor drone to enhance its air defences. Three initial manufacturers have started manufacturing, with 11 more preparing to establish production lines, Ukrainian military officials stated this past Friday.

'Octopus' Technology Proven in Combat Conditions

The drones utilize a domestically developed system known as “Octopus” engineered to neutralize Shahed drones. The system underwent testing in actual battle and proved successful “at night, under jamming and at low altitudes,” officials stated.
