The co-creator of Call of Duty, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.
The celebrated industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
